Pinterest Image Downloader

Keep the photo, not just the pin. Paste a Pinterest image link and save the full-resolution photo — no login, no cropping, no screenshot quality loss.

Works with public pins. This page shows still images only.

Paste a link to see the preview here.

How it works

  1. In Pinterest, open the photo, tap Share, then Copy link. It works with pin.it short links as well.
  2. Paste it here and press Download. The preview appears in two phases: first the photo itself with its title, then the file size and the resolution on offer.
  3. Save the photo. One tap saves the full image to your device — to Downloads on desktop and Android, or to Files on iPhone, where you can move it into Photos. No account, no app, no watermark added.

What “full quality” means here

It means the file Pinterest serves for that pin at its largest available size, untouched. GoPinSave does not crop it, recompress it, or stamp anything on it. If the creator uploaded a tall, narrow infographic, you get the tall, narrow infographic — not a square cut from the middle. If the pin only exists at a modest size, the preview says so, and you decide whether it is still worth saving.

This page is for still images. If the pin is a video or an animated GIF, use the video downloader or the GIF downloader instead, where those formats belong.

Sorting out the usual mix-ups

A surprising number of “image won’t download” reports turn out to be a different kind of pin. Shopping pins often show a product photo but link out to a store; article pins show a cover image for a blog post. When the preview shows no image file, that is usually why — the pin never had a standalone photo to save. A link from a private board behaves the same way as on the video page: only public pins can be read.

Another common one: pasting a board link instead of a pin link. Board downloads are a different feature and are not part of this page. Open one photo, copy that photo’s link, and paste it here.

Save only public pins for your own personal use, and respect the creator’s rights — a saved photo is a reference for yourself, not content to repost as your own.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a Pinterest image?

Open the photo in Pinterest, copy its link, paste it into the box on this page, and press Download. The preview shows the photo, its title, and the resolution available, and then you save the full file to your device. There is no account to create and no app to install, and the photo downloads without any watermark added.

Will I get the full-resolution photo or a small version?

You get the largest version the source provides for that pin, untouched — no cropping and no recompression. If the creator only uploaded a modest-sized image, the preview shows that size honestly before you download, so you can decide whether it is worth keeping. What you see in the preview is the file you receive.

Why does a screenshot look worse than the saved photo?

A screenshot captures your screen, not the photo, so it loses detail, shifts colors, and caps the resolution at your display size. Saving the original file keeps every pixel the creator uploaded, which matters for patterns, paint shades, floor plans, and any image you plan to zoom into.

Can I download a whole Pinterest board at once here?

No, this page saves one image pin at a time, and a board link pasted here will not work. Board downloads are a separate feature that is coming later. For now, open the single photo you want, copy that photo’s link, and paste it into the box. Each pin you save this way comes down at full quality.

The preview loads but there is no image to download. Why?

The pin is most likely a shopping or article pin, which shows a cover photo but has no standalone image file attached. GoPinSave can only save a photo that actually exists on the pin, so it tells you when there is nothing to save instead of inventing a file.

Do I need a Pinterest account for this?

No, you do not need a Pinterest account, and the tool never asks for your login. It only reads the public pin in your link, which is why links from private boards or protected accounts cannot be opened. As long as the pin is public, anyone with the link can save the photo, no account required.
